Arkansas High School Basketball - St. Joseph nips Maumelle Charter
January 4, 2023: Maumelle, AR 72113 St. Joseph Bulldogs (Conway, AR) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Maumelle Charter Falcons (Maumelle, AR), 52-49 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, St. Joseph upgrades its record to 5-7 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Poyen (Poyen, AR) to play the Indians in a 2A Region 5 bout on Saturday, January 7. The Indians come into the bout with a record of 0-9. Poyen lost 62-46 in their recent league bout against Cutter-Morning Star (Hot Springs National Park, AR)
Next up, the Falcons play the Perryville Mustangs (Perryville, AR) in a 3A Region 5 bout, on Friday, January 6. Maumelle Charter will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record.
