Virginia High School Basketball - Sherando can't hold off Skyline
January 4, 2023: Front Royal, VA 22630 The Skyline Hawks basketball team scored 64 points and held the visiting Sherando Warriors to 57 in the Hawks league triumph on Wednesday.
The Hawks now sport a 9-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Handley for a Northwestern contest on Monday, January 9. Skyline will battle a Judges team coming off a 77-52 league win over James Wood (Winchester, VA). The Judges record now stands at 5-7.
The Warriors (7-4) will now prepare for their contest against Millbrook (Winchester, VA). The Pioneers enter the Northwestern contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, Millbrook nudged Liberty (Bealeton, VA), 67-63, in a league contest.
