The Ballston Spa Scotties basketball team scored 72 points and held the host Lansingburgh Knights to 23 in the Scotties non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Scotties now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Troy for a Section 2 Suburban contest on Friday, January 6. Ballston Spa will meet a Flying Horses team coming off a 81-38 league loss to Bethlehem Central (Delmar, NY). The Flying Horses record now stands at 0-9.

The Knights (0-11) will now prepare for their contest against Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk (Ravena, NY). The Indians enter the Section 2 Colonial contest with a 3-7 record. In their last contest, Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk was routed by Ichabod Crane (Valatie, NY), 72-31, in a league contest.
