New York High School Basketball - Chittenango ripped by Bishop Grimes
January 4, 2023: Chittenango, NY 13037 The Bishop Grimes Cobras basketball team scored 54 points and held the host Chittenango Bears to 32 in the Cobras league triumph on Wednesday.
The Cobras now sport a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bishop Ludden for a Section 3 Liberty contest on Friday, January 6. Bishop Grimes will meet a Gaelic Knights team coming off a 79-44 non-league loss to Shenendehowa (Clifton Park, NY). The Gaelic Knights record now stands at 2-3.
The Bears (0-5) will now prepare for their contest against Westhill (Syracuse, NY). The Warriors enter the Section 3 Liberty contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Westhill triumphed over South Jefferson (Adams, NY), 49-29, in a non-league contest.
