Connecticut High School Basketball - Bristol Eastern fells New Britain
January 4, 2023: Bristol, CT 06010 Bristol Eastern Lancers (Bristol, CT) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting New Britain Golden Hurricanes (New Britain, CT), 40-31 in a league bout.
With the win, Bristol Eastern upgrades its record to 3-4 on the season. The Lancers host Northwest Catholic (West Hartford, CT) to clash with the Lions in a Central Connecticut - West Colonial bout on Friday, January 6. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 4-2. Northwest Catholic lost 51-32 in their recent league bout against Conard (West Hartford, CT)
Next up, the Golden Hurricanes clash with the South Windsor Bobcats (South Windsor, CT) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 6. New Britain will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Bobcats go into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 57-35 non-league loss to Edwin O. Smith (Storrs, CT).
