Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Central Golden Eagles (Springfield, MA) and the host Taconic Braves (Pittsfield, MA), saw Central's basketball squad wallop Taconic by a tally of 76-25.

With the victory, Central improves its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Golden Eagles travel to Chicopee (Chicopee, MA) to play the Pacers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 7. The Pacers come into the challenge with a record of 6-1. Chicopee won 64-58 in their recent non-league challenge against Longmeadow (Longmeadow, MA)
