The Westmont Hilltop Hilltoppers basketball team scored 39 points and held the visiting Forest Hills Rangers to 34 in the Hilltoppers league triumph on Wednesday.

With the victory, Westmont Hilltop upgrades its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Hilltoppers host Bishop Carroll (Ebensburg, PA) to play the Huskies in a Laurel Highlands bout on Friday, January 6. The Huskies come into the bout with a record of 4-5. Bishop Carroll lost 51-38 in their recent league bout against Penn Cambria (Cresson, PA)

Next up, the Rangers play the Bishop Guilfoyle Marauders (Altoona, PA) in a Laurel Highlands bout, on Friday, January 6. Forest Hills will attempt to upgrade on its 7-1 season record. The Marauders come into the bout with a 5-3 record after their 45-39 league win over Central Cambria (Ebensburg, PA).
