West Virginia High School Basketball - St. Marys overwhelms Magnolia
January 4, 2023: New Martinsville, WV 26155 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the St. Marys Blue Devils (St. Marys, WV) and the host Magnolia Blue Eagles (New Martinsville, WV), saw St. Marys's basketball squad wallop Magnolia by a tally of 69-34.
With the victory, St. Marys improves its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Blue Devils host Parkersburg Catholic (Parkersburg, WV) to play the Crusaders in a Little Kanawha - West challenge on Friday, January 6. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a record of 4-1. Parkersburg Catholic won 50-37 in their recent non-league challenge against South Charleston (South Charleston, WV)
Next up, the Blue Eagles play the River Pilots (Hannibal, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 5. Magnolia will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Pilots come into the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 58-45 non-league loss to Fairland (Proctorville, OH).
