Buckingham Knights (Buckingham, VA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Nottoway Cougars (Nottoway, VA), 40-34 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Buckingham upgrades its record to 1-3 on the campaign. The Knights host Amelia County (Amelia Court House, VA) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Friday, January 6. The Raiders come into the bout with a record of 0-5.
