California High School Basketball - Valley Center tops Monte Vista
January 4, 2023: Valley Center, CA 92082 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Valley Center Jaguars (Valley Center, CA) and the visiting Monte Vista Monarchs (Spring Valley, CA), saw Valley Center's basketball squad knock off Monte Vista by a tally of 55-35.
With the victory, Valley Center improves its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Escondido (Escondido, CA) to play the Cougars in a challenge on Friday, January 13. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 0-9.
Next up, the Monarchs play the West Hills Wolf Pack (Santee, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 5. Monte Vista will attempt to improve on its 3-9 season record. The Wolf Pack come into the challenge with a 9-7 record after their 56-38 non-league loss to Granite Hills (El Cajon, CA).
