January 4, 2023: Winston-Salem, NC 27104 R.J. Reynolds Demons (Winston-Salem, NC) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting South Stokes Sauras (Walnut Cove, NC), 54-28 in a non-league bout.
With the win, R.J. Reynolds upgrades its record to 3-5 on the season. The Demons host East Forsyth (Kernersville, NC) to face the Eagles in a non-league game on Friday, January 6. The Eagles enter the game with a record of 6-0. East Forsyth won 70-44 in their recent non-league game against Parkland (Winston-Salem, NC)
With the defeat, South Stokes moves to 5-6 on the year. The Sauras travel to Elkin (Elkin, NC) to face the Buckin' Elks in a non-league game on Thursday, January 5. The Buckin' Elks enter the game with a record of 5-4.
