New York High School Basketball - Phoenix overwhelmed by Bishop Ludden
January 4, 2024: Syracuse, NY 13219 The Bishop Ludden Gaelic Knights basketball team scored 79 points and restricted the visiting Phoenix Firebirds to 52 in the Gaelic Knights non-league victory on Thursday.
The Gaelic Knights now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Francis for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 6. Bishop Ludden will battle a Red Raiders team coming off a 67-63 league win over St. Mary's (Lancaster, NY). The Red Raiders record now stands at 4-5.
The Firebirds (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Marcellus (Marcellus, NY). The Mustangs come into the Section 3 Onondaga - Liberty National contest with a 10-1 record.
