January 4, 2024: Hookerton, NC 28538 Calvary Baptist Church Eagles (New Bern, NC) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Mount Calvary Christian Academy Warriors (Hookerton, NC), 48-39 in a league bout.
With the win, Calvary Baptist Church upgrades its record to 1-3 on the season. The Eagles host Ahoskie Christian (Ahoskie, NC) to clash with the in a Mid-Atlantic Christian - South bout on Friday, January 5. The go into the bout with a record of 6-12. Ahoskie Christian lost 73-56 in their recent non-league bout against Community Christian (Wilson, NC)
Next up, the Warriors clash with the Pamlico Christian Academy Mariners (Grantsboro, NC) in a Mid-Atlantic Christian - South bout, on Friday, January 5. Mount Calvary Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-10 season record. The Mariners go into the bout with a 8-7 record after their 64-44 non-league loss to Gramercy Christian (Newport, NC).
