Cathedral Fighting Irish (El Paso, TX) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Rehoboth Christian Lynx (Rehoboth, NM), 52-46 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Cathedral upgrades its record to 10-11 on the season. The Fighting Irish host Riverside (El Paso, TX) to clash with the Rangers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Rangers go into the bout with a record of 3-13.

Next up, the Lynx clash with the Miyamura Patriots (Gallup, NM) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 5. Rehoboth Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 1-8 record after their 61-52 non-league loss to Santa Fe Prep (Santa Fe, NM).
