New York High School Basketball - Chittenango nips Christian Brothers Academy
January 4, 2024: Chittenango, NY 13037 Chittenango Bears (Chittenango, NY) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Christian Brothers Academy Brothers (Syracuse, NY), 59-57 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Chittenango upgrades its record to 8-4 on the season. The Bears travel to Institute of Tech (Syracuse, NY) to play the Eagles in a Section 3 Onondaga - Liberty American bout on Friday, January 12. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 3-1.
Next up, the Brothers play the The Park School of Buffalo Pioneers (Buffalo, NY) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 6. Christian Brothers Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Pioneers go into the bout with a 6-4 record after their 73-52 league win over Cardinal O'Hara (Tonawanda, NY).
