Cypress Lake Panthers (Fort Myers, FL) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Estero Wildcats (Estero, FL), 52-48 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Cypress Lake upgrades its record to 8-6 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Palmetto (Miami, FL) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Friday, January 5. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 7-7. Palmetto won 76-49 in their recent non-league bout against Lakewood Ranch (Bradenton, FL)
