Shenandoah Mustangs (Shenandoah, IA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Fremont-Mills Knights (Tabor, IA), 52-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Shenandoah upgrades its record to 5-5 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Glenwood (Glenwood, IA) to play the Rams in a Hawkeye Ten bout on Friday, January 5. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 5-4. Glenwood won 68-58 in their recent league bout against Atlantic (Atlantic, IA)

Next up, the Knights play the Essex Trojans (Essex, IA) in a Corner bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Fremont-Mills will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 3-10 record after their 56-48 non-league loss to Griswold (Griswold, IA).
