Spring Creek Spartans (Spring Creek, NV) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Lowry Buckaroos (Winnemucca, NV), 62-39 in a league bout.

With the win, Spring Creek upgrades its record to 12-2 on the season. The Spartans travel to Churchill County (Fallon, NV) to play the Greenwave in a 3A Northern - East bout on Saturday, January 6. The Greenwave go into the bout with a record of 7-9. Churchill County lost 56-40 in their recent league bout against Elko (Elko, NV)

Next up, the Buckaroos play the Elko Indians (Elko, NV) in a 3A Northern - East bout, on Saturday, January 6. Lowry will attempt to upgrade on its 9-6 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 9-6 record after their 56-40 league win over Churchill County (Fallon, NV).
