New Jersey High School Basketball - Montgomery crushes Voorhees
January 4, 2024: Glen Gardner, NJ 08826 Montgomery Cougars (Skillman, NJ) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Voorhees Vikings (Glen Gardner, NJ), 82-42 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Montgomery upgrades its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Cougars host Lenape (Medford, NJ) to play the Indians in a non-league test on Saturday, January 6. The Indians go into the test with a record of 7-2. Lenape won 50-41 in their recent league test against Cherry Hill East (Cherry Hill, NJ)
The Vikings now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Haddon Township for a non-league test on Saturday, January 6. Voorhees will encounter a Hawks squad coming off a 54-43 non-league win over West Deptford (Westville, NJ). The Hawks record now stands at 2-6.
