Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Westchester Comets (Los Angeles, CA) and the visiting Verdugo Hills Dons (Tujunga, CA), saw Westchester's basketball squad overcome Verdugo Hills by a tally of 66-53.

With the victory, Westchester improves its record to 9-5 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Marquez (Huntington Park, CA) to confront the Gladiators in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 5. The Gladiators come into the challenge with a record of 8-4. Marquez won 49-48 in their recent non-league challenge against Hamilton (Los Angeles, CA)
