Washington High School Basketball - Northwest Yeshiva holds off Concordia Christian Academy
January 4, 2024: Tacoma, WA 98404 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Northwest Yeshiva Lions (Mercer Island, WA) and the host Concordia Christian Academy Hawks (Tacoma, WA), saw Northwest Yeshiva's basketball squad hold off Concordia Christian Academy by a tally of 1-0.
With the victory, Northwest Yeshiva improves its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Rainier Christian (Covington, WA) to confront the Mustangs in a 1B/2B Sea-Tac challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 4-1. Rainier Christian won 32-17 in their recent league challenge against Puget Sound Adventist (Kirkland, WA)
Next up, the Hawks confront the Quilcene Rangers (Quilcene, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 8. Concordia Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Rangers come into the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 46-7 league loss to Evergreen Lutheran (Tacoma, WA).
