Minnesota High School Basketball - Madelia ripped by Nicollet
January 4, 2024: Nicollet, MN 56074 The Nicollet Raiders basketball team scored 83 points and held the visiting Madelia Blackhawks to 34 in the Raiders league triumph on Thursday.
The Raiders now sport a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Granada-Huntley-East Chain/Martin Luther/Truman for a A Section 2 contest on Friday, January 5. Nicollet will battle a Jaguars team coming off a 63-46 non-league loss to Sibley East (Arlington, MN). The Jaguars record now stands at 5-3.
The Blackhawks (1-9) will now prepare for their contest against Martin County West (Sherburn, MN). The Mavericks enter the A Section 2 contest with a 7-2 record. In their last contest, Martin County West triumphed over Windom (Windom, MN), 67-62, in a non-league contest.
