Oregon High School Basketball - Powder Valley overwhelms Pine Eagle
January 4, 2024: North Powder, OR 97867 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Powder Valley Badgers (North Powder, OR) and the visiting Pine Eagle Spartans (Halfway, OR), saw Powder Valley's basketball squad wallop Pine Eagle by a tally of 59-32.
With the victory, Powder Valley improves its record to 10-5 on the campaign. The Badgers host Union (Union, OR) to play the Bobcats in a 1A Old Oregon challenge on Saturday, January 6. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 10-4. Union won 50-20 in their recent league challenge against Elgin (Elgin, OR)
Next up, the Spartans play the Huntington Locomotives (Huntington, OR) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 5. Pine Eagle will attempt to improve on its 2-9 season record.
