Iowa High School Basketball - West Monona fells Tekamah-Herman
January 4, 2024: Onawa, IA 51040 West Monona Spartans (Onawa, IA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Tekamah-Herman Tigers (Tekamah, NE), 77-61 in a non-league bout.
With the win, West Monona upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Spartans travel to River Valley (Correctionville, IA) to play the Wolverines in a Western Valley - North bout on Friday, January 5. The Wolverines go into the bout with a record of 7-2.
Next up, the Tigers play the Clarkson/Leigh Patriots (Clarkson, NE) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 6. Tekamah-Herman will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 8-4 record after their 46-42 non-league loss to North Bend Central (North Bend, NE).
