Washington High School Basketball - Lynden tops Bellingham
January 4, 2024: Lynden, WA 98264 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Lynden Lions (Lynden, WA) and the visiting Bellingham Bayhawks (Bellingham, WA), saw Lynden's basketball squad knock off Bellingham by a count of 55-36.
With the victory, Lynden upgrades its record to 9-0 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Mt. Baker (Deming, WA) to play the Mountaineers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Mountaineers come into the challenge with a record of 4-8. Mt. Baker lost 57-16 in their recent non-league challenge against Burlington-Edison (Burlington, WA)
Next up, the Bayhawks play the Lakewood Cougars (Arlington, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 6. Bellingham will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 3-6 record after their 66-56 non-league loss to Sehome (Bellingham, WA).
