Colorado High School Basketball - Fruita Monument crushes Centauri
January 4, 2024: Fruita, CO 81521 Fruita Monument Wildcats (Fruita, CO) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Centauri Falcons (La Jara, CO), 57-35 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Fruita Monument upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Palisade (Palisade, CO) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 0-2.
Next up, the Falcons clash with the Delta Panthers (Delta, CO) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 5. Centauri will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 43-33 non-league loss to Grand Junction Central (Grand Junction, CO).
