California High School Basketball - Newark Memorial crushes Concord
January 4, 2024: Concord, CA 94521 Newark Memorial Cougars (Newark, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Concord Minutemen (Concord, CA), 68-12 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Newark Memorial upgrades its record to 6-6 on the season. The Cougars travel to Foothill (Pleasanton, CA) to clash with the Falcons in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 6. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 12-3. Foothill lost 57-49 in their recent non-league bout against Freedom (Oakley, CA)
Next up, the Minutemen clash with the College Park Falcons (Pleasant Hill, CA) in a bout, on Saturday, January 13. Concord will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record.
