Indiana High School Basketball - South Bend Clay nips Jimtown
January 4, 2024: Elkhart, IN 46517 South Bend Clay Colonials (South Bend, IN) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Jimtown Jimmies (Elkhart, IN), 34-28 in a league bout.
With the victory, South Bend Clay upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Colonials travel to South Bend Career Academy (South Bend, IN) to play the Trailblazers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Trailblazers come into the bout with a record of 1-0.
Next up, the Jimmies play the Penn Kingsmen (Mishawaka, IN) in a bout, on Friday, January 12. Jimtown will attempt to upgrade on its 0-9 season record. The Kingsmen come into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 52-12 league win over New Prairie (New Carlisle, IN).
