Iowa High School Basketball - Ames routs Prairie
January 4, 2025: Ames, IA 50010 In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Ames Little Cyclones basketball team scored a big 60-38 triumph over the Prairie Hawks.
The Little Cyclones (7-1) will now prepare for their contest against Urbandale (Urbandale, IA). The J-Hawks go into the non-league contest with a 1-6 record. In their last contest, Urbandale was trounced by Waukee (Waukee, IA), 71-51, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Hawks battle the Liberty Lightning (North Liberty, IA) in a Mississippi Valley contest, on Friday, January 10. Prairie will attempt to better on its 5-1 season record. The Lightning go into the contest with a 2-7 record after their 77-71 non-league loss to Iowa City West (Iowa City, IA).
