Washington High School Basketball - Anacortes victorious over Cedarcrest
January 4, 2025: Anacortes, WA 98221 In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Anacortes Seahawks basketball team scored a good 51-40 triumph over the Cedarcrest Red Wolves.
The Seahawks (6-1) will now prepare for their contest against Burlington-Edison (Burlington, WA). The Tigers go into the 1A/2A/3A Northwest contest with a 7-2 record. In their last contest, Burlington-Edison was toppled by Lynden Christian (Lynden, WA), 87-68, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Red Wolves confront the Squalicum Storm (Bellingham, WA) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, January 8. Cedarcrest will attempt to better on its 3-8 season record. The Storm go into the contest with a 4-6 record after their 52-43 league loss to Ferndale (Ferndale, WA).
