New Jersey High School Basketball - St. Augustine Prep can't hold off Atlantic City
January 4, 2025: Richland, NJ 08350 Atlantic City Vikings (Atlantic City, NJ) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host St. Augustine Prep Hermits (Richland, NJ), 60-58 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Atlantic City advances its record to 6-2 on the year. The Vikings travel to Lower Cape May (Cape May, NJ) to face the Tigers in a Cape/Atlantic - National match on Thursday, January 9. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 3-4. Lower Cape May won 56-33 in their recent league match against Holy Spirit (Absecon, NJ)
The Hermits now own a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mainland Regional for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 7. St. Augustine Prep will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 67-45 league loss to Hammonton (Hammonton, NJ). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-6.
