The Grove City Christian Eagles basketball squad (Grove City, OH), was nudged 66-65 in Saturday's league battle with the visiting Bishop Rosecrans Bishops (Zanesville, OH)

With the victory, Bishop Rosecrans advances its record to 7-1 on the year. The Bishops host Fairfield Christian Academy (Lancaster, OH) to meet the Knights in a Mid-State - Cardinal battle on Thursday, January 9. The Knights enter the battle with a record of 3-4. Fairfield Christian Academy won 70-68 in their recent non-league battle against Granville Christian Academy (Granville, OH)

The Eagles now own a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Logan Elm for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 7. Grove City Christian will meet a Braves squad coming off a 60-45 league loss to Bloom-Carroll (Carroll, OH). The Braves record now stands at 3-9.
