Brookwood Broncos (Snellville, GA) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Shiloh Generals (Snellville, GA), 45-42 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Brookwood advances its record to 4-11 on the year. The Broncos host North Gwinnett (Suwanee, GA) to meet the Bulldogs in a AAAAAA Region 7 match on Tuesday, January 7. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 5-9. North Gwinnett won 54-49 in their recent non-league match against South Forsyth (Cumming, GA)

The Generals now own a 5-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Decatur for a AAAAA Region 4 match on Tuesday, January 7. Shiloh will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 59-55 non-league win over Central Gwinnett (Lawrenceville, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-5.
