Nebraska High School Basketball - Sacred Heart holds off Bruning-Davenport/Shickley
January 4, 2025: Bruning, NE 68322 The Sacred Heart Irish basketball team scored 58 points and limited the host Bruning-Davenport/Shickley Eagles to 56 in the Irish non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Irish now have a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Elmwood-Murdock for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 7. Sacred Heart will confront a Knights team coming off a 81-44 non-league loss to Concordia (Omaha, NE). The Knights record now stands at 3-4.
With the loss, Bruning-Davenport/Shickley falls to 4-6 on the campaign. The Eagles host Twin River (Genoa, NE) to confront the Titans in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 7. The Titans go into the game with a record of 3-5. Twin River lost 62-30 in their recent non-league game against East Butler (Brainard, NE)
