January 4, 2025: Johns Creek, GA 30022 In Saturday's non-league test, the Cherokee Warriors (Canton, GA) basketball squad trounced the host Mount Pisgah Christian Patriots (Johns Creek, GA), by a score of 67-46.
Next, the Warriors encounter the Wheeler Wildcats (Marietta, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 5 test, on Tuesday, January 7. Cherokee will attempt to improve on its 12-5 season record. The Wildcats come into the test with a 11-3 record after their 67-53 non-league win over Greenforest (Decatur, GA).
The Patriots (0-11) will now prepare for their test against Paideia (Atlanta, GA). The Pythons come into the A D1 Region 5 test with a 5-7 record. In their last test, Paideia bounced St. Francis (Alpharetta, GA), 82-77, in a league game.
