January 4, 2025: Portland, OR 97220 The Columbia Christian Knights (Portland, OR) basketball edged the visiting Willamina Bulldogs (Willamina, OR), 57-55 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Knights now possess a 2-5 record. They play next when they host Nestucca for a 2A Northwest bout on Tuesday, January 7. Columbia Christian will play a Bobcats team coming off a 47-37 non-league loss to St. Paul (St. Paul, OR). The Bobcats record now stands at 4-6.
With the loss, Willamina falls to 0-9 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Jefferson (Jefferson, OR) to play the Lions in a 3A PacWest bout on Tuesday, January 7. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 3-6. Jefferson won 77-25 in their recent non-league bout against Rogue River (Rogue River, OR)
