Cornerstone Christian Patriots (Willoughby, OH) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Manchester Panthers (Akron, OH), 64-61 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Cornerstone Christian advances its record to 7-3 on the year. The Patriots host Fuchs Mizrachi (University Heights, OH) to meet the Mayhem in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 7. The Mayhem enter the match with a record of 5-1. Fuchs Mizrachi won 58-34 in their recent non-league match against Bard Early College (Cleveland, OH)

The Panthers now own a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mogadore for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 7. Manchester will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 68-27 non-league win over North (Akron, OH). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-5.
