January 4, 2025: Baxter, TN 38544 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Upperman Bees (Baxter, TN) and the visiting Creek Wood Red Hawks (Charlotte, TN), observed Upperman's basketball team overwhelm Creek Wood by a score of 66-35.
The Bees (10-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Franklin County (Winchester, TN). The Rebels come into the non-league challenge with a 2-13 record. In their last challenge, Franklin County was routed by Lincoln County (Fayetteville, TN), 59-48, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Red Hawks battle the Lawson Lightning (Nashville, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. Creek Wood will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record. The Lightning come into the challenge with a 9-6 record after their 58-38 non-league win over Sycamore (Pleasant View, TN).
