In Saturday's non-league contest, the host St. Joseph Regional Green Knights basketball team scored a close 71-65 triumph over the Delbarton Green Wave.

The Green Knights (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Paramus Catholic (Paramus, NJ). The Paladins go into the Big North - United contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, Paramus Catholic was tipped by St. Benedict's Prep (Newark, NJ), 77-74, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Green Wave battle the Chatham Cougars (Chatham, NJ) in a Northwest Jersey - American contest, on Monday, January 6. Delbarton will attempt to better on its 4-4 season record.
