In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Edgeley/Kulm/Montpelier Rangers basketball team scored a good 57-39 triumph over the Maple River Eagles.

The Rangers (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Oakes (Oakes, ND). The Tornadoes go into the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Oakes topped Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter (Napoleon, ND), 76-45, in a non-league contest.
