Maine High School Basketball - Freeport triumphant over Massabesic
January 4, 2025: Freeport, ME 04032 The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Freeport Falcons (Freeport, ME) and the visiting Massabesic Mustangs (Waterboro, ME), observed Freeport's basketball team overwhelm Massabesic by a score of 66-36.
The Falcons (2-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Gardiner (Gardiner, ME). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 5-3 record.
In their next game, the Mustangs encounter the Bonny Eagle Scots (Standish, ME) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. Massabesic will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Scots come into the challenge with a 4-6 record after their 61-48 non-league loss to Edward Little (Auburn, ME).
