The Monroe Vikings basketball squad (North Hills, CA), was crushed 67-36 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Gardena Panthers (Gardena, CA)

With the victory, Gardena advances its record to 7-10 on the year. The Panthers travel to Carson (Carson, CA) to meet the Colts in a Marine battle on Wednesday, January 8. The Colts enter the battle with a record of 4-8. Carson won 76-46 in their recent non-league battle against Foshay (Los Angeles, CA)
