Oregon High School Basketball - Kennedy routs Umpqua Valley Christian
January 4, 2025: Mt. Angel, OR 97362 In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Kennedy Trojans basketball team scored a big 66-37 win over the Umpqua Valley Christian Monarchs.
The Trojans (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Monroe (Monroe, OR). The Dragons come into the non-league contest with a 2-8 record. In their last contest, Monroe was trounced by Lowell (Lowell, OR), 65-34, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Monarchs battle the Camas Valley Hornets (Camas Valley, OR) in a 1A Skyline contest, on Friday, January 10. Umpqua Valley Christian will attempt to better on its 9-2 season record. The Hornets come into the contest with a 7-5 record after their 44-34 non-league loss to Prospect (Prospect, OR).
