Minnesota High School Basketball - Russell-Tyler-Ruthton bests Lakeview
January 4, 2025: Tyler, MN 56178 The Russell-Tyler-Ruthton Knights basketball team scored 62 points and limited the visiting Lakeview Lakers to 51 in the Knights league triumph on Saturday.
The Knights now possess a 5-2 record. They play next when they host Canby for a A Section 3 game on Monday, January 6. Russell-Tyler-Ruthton will play a Lancers team coming off a 79-52 league loss to Renville County West (Renville, MN). The Lancers record now stands at 0-9.
With the loss, Lakeview falls to 4-7 on the campaign. The Lakers host Yellow Medicine East (Granite Falls, MN) to play the Sting in a A Section 3 game on Tuesday, January 7. The Sting go into the game with a record of 2-6. Yellow Medicine East lost 78-63 in their recent non-league game against Nicollet (Nicollet, MN)
