Nebraska High School Basketball - Westview bests Lincoln North Star

January 4, 2025: Omaha, NE

The Westview Wolverines basketball team scored 71 points and limited the visiting Lincoln North Star Navigators to 53 in the Wolverines league triumph on Saturday.

The Wolverines now possess a 8-1 record. They play next when they host Millard South for a Freelance game on Tuesday, January 7. Westview will confront a Patriots team coming off a 65-59 non-league loss to Papillion-LaVista South (Papillion, NE). The Patriots record now stands at 8-3.

With the loss, Lincoln North Star falls to 6-2 on the campaign. The Navigators host Columbus (Columbus, NE) to confront the Discoverers in a A District 1 game on Tuesday, January 7. The Discoverers go into the game with a record of 4-4. Columbus won 57-45 in their recent non-league game against Norfolk (Norfolk, NE)
