Minnesota High School Basketball - Waseca thwarts Marshall
January 4, 2025: Marshall, MN 56258 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Waseca Bluejays (Waseca, MN) and the host Marshall Tigers (Marshall, MN), observed Waseca's basketball team knock off Marshall by a score of 71-52.
The Bluejays (12-0) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Clair (St. Clair, MN). The Cyclones come into the AA Section 2 challenge with a 5-5 record. In their last challenge, St. Clair was knocked off by New Ulm (New Ulm, MN), 83-69, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Tigers encounter the St. Peter Saints (St. Peter, MN) in a AAA Section 2 challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. Marshall will attempt to improve on its 7-4 season record.
