January 4, 2025: Hotchkiss, CO 81419 North Fork Miners (Hotchkiss, CO) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Rangely Panthers (Rangely, CO), 57-33 in a non-league match.
With the victory, North Fork advances its record to 3-4 on the year. The Miners travel to Roaring Fork (Carbondale, CO) to face the Rams in a 3A Western Slope match on Friday, January 10. The Rams enter the match with a record of 5-3. Roaring Fork lost 65-43 in their recent non-league match against Basalt (Basalt, CO)
The Panthers now own a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hayden for a 2A/1A Western Slope match on Friday, January 10. Rangely will face a Tigers squad coming off a 61-21 non-league loss to Eagle Ridge Academy (Brighton, CO). The Tigers record now stands at 1-7.
