The University Wildcats were victorious over the host Sylmar Spartans basketball squad by a final score of 66-54 in Saturday's non-league outing.

Next, the Wildcats clash with the Palisades Dolphins (Pacific Palisades, CA) in a Western outing, on Monday, January 6. University will attempt to upgrade on its 8-4 season record. The Dolphins enter the outing with a 8-5 record after their 61-48 non-league loss to Saugus (Saugus, CA).

The Spartans (2-11) will now prepare for their outing against North Hollywood (North Hollywood, CA). The Huskies enter the non-league outing with a 3-9 record. In their last outing, North Hollywood was defeated by Hamilton (Los Angeles, CA), 87-64, in a non-league outing.
