Oregon High School Basketball - Warrenton trounced by Valley Catholic
January 4, 2025: Warrenton, OR 97146 Valley Catholic Valiants (Beaverton, OR) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Warrenton Warriors (Warrenton, OR), 74-48 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Valley Catholic advances its record to 7-3 on the year. The Valiants host Horizon Christian (Tualatin, OR) to face the Hawks in a 3A Lewis & Clark match on Tuesday, January 7. The Hawks enter the match with a record of 6-7. Horizon Christian won 66-53 in their recent non-league match against Central Linn (Halsey, OR)
The Warriors now own a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rainier for a 3A Coastal Range match on Friday, January 10. Warrenton will face a Columbians squad coming off a 65-33 league loss to Banks (Banks, OR). The Columbians record now stands at 2-10.
