The Liberty Lions basketball team scored 70 points and limited the host Las Lomas Knights to 59 in the Lions non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Lions now have a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Freedom for a game on Tuesday, January 7. Liberty will confront a Falcons team coming off a 42-36 non-league loss to Amador Valley (Pleasanton, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 3-10.

With the loss, Las Lomas falls to 5-7 on the campaign. The Knights travel to De La Salle (Concord, CA) to confront the Spartans in a non-league game on Monday, January 6. The Spartans go into the game with a record of 5-0. De La Salle won 46-27 in their recent non-league game against Archbishop Riordan (San Francisco, CA)
